It is a great way to experience a historic neighborhood that is full of culture. During our tour, we will learn a lot about North End and eat an abundance of delicious Italian foods.
Can I Bring My Child?
You can absolutely bring your children with you on this tour. The love of food and learning about food begins at a young age and is part of our own culture as well. It is important that you know we will be doing a lot of walking.
Where Does the Tour Begin and End?
We will meet up at the Tony DeMarco Statue, which is located on Hanover and Cross Streets. When we have seen and learned all we can, we will stop at the Statue of Paul Revere located on Hanover Street.
What Is the Length of the Tour?
Our tours last between two and three hours in time. The time will vary depending on how busy the streets and shops are at that particular time.
Will the Tour Still Happen if It Is Raining?
Within reason, we will still have the tour even if it is raining. In the event that we experience extreme weather, you will receive a gift certificate. This gift certificate will be honored at any time in the future and will not have an expiration date so that you can still experience North End the way you desire.
Is Picture Taking Allowed on the Tour?
We actually encourage you to take pictures along the tour. North End, Boston is one of the most unique neighborhoods in the area. There will be limitless photo opportunities.
Does the Tour Accommodate Food Allergies?
We will accommodate food allergies as long as you inform us at the time of your registration. During the registration, there is a section to list food allergies, so be sure to do that. All of the food we will be eating is pre-ordered, and we want to ensure that no one is left hungry at the end of the tour.
What Do We Do on the Tour?
Throughout the day, we will travel through the neighborhood of North End. You will be guided by a lifelong local of the area named Bobby Agrippino. Bobby will show you the ins and outs of the historic neighborhood. You will learn the Italian culture of the area that dates back to the late 1800s. As we travel, you will hear personal stories from Bobby, and you will eat and drink Italian foods along the way. You will also come into contact with other Italian locals, and you will learn about the staples of the neighborhood.
